The only not very big (about 50 sq. m.) population of this fern, although within a reserve, is under the danger of being disappeared.

Habitat in Armenia

Only in Zangezur, Shikahogh State Reserve and around Nerkin And village can be met.

Met in along the river benches and in the forests.

This isolated population has scientific interest. Medicinal plant.
