Met in the floristic regions of Ijevan, Sevan, Dareleghis, Zangezur, and Meghri.

Habitat and ecology

Grows in dry, rocky hills in the height up to 1000 meters above sea level. Met alone or in groups.

Biology and potential value

Natural reproduction is not satisfactory. The highest species reaches up to 16 meters. Medicinal Plant.

Measures of protection

Cut should be strictly forbidden. Included in the Red Book of the Soviet Union.
