Dr. Dickran Kouymjian founded the Armenian student newspaper, Hye Sharzhoom, in 1978-79. It is based out of California State University Fresno.
Hye Sharzhoom is a supplement of the Daily Collegian and the newspaper of the CSUF Armenian Students Organization and the Armenian Studies Program and is funded by the Associated Students (at CSUF).
