Scarce early 20th century missionary biographical account. Entitled, Hadjin and The Armenian Massacres by Rose Lambert. Published by Fleming H. Revell, N.Y. 1911. 1st edition, book is hardbound in brick red cloth binding with blind stamped borders. 106 pages detail the account by Miss Lambert, a missionary for nearly 12 years there who witnessed the massacre of Armenians by the Moslems. Accompanied by a number of full page sepia illustrations including frontispiece. Book is 12mo, 7 1/2" x 5 1/4. A notable account of Christian missionary activity in Turkey of the period.
